Good Night Johnboy – Teen Titans Artist Leaves Over Creative Differences After 2 Issues!

Last week DC Comics released Teen Titans: Rebirth #1, the first issue of the Rebirth era of the team. The book features Damian Wayne, Robin taking out Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven and Kid Flash in a hostile takeover of the team. That isn’t the only drama the teens have to face as artist Johnboy Myers posted on his Facebook that his departure is due to “creative differences.”

DC website still credits Meyers as artist of Teen Titans #1 – #3.

Before Teen Titans: Rebirth #1 hit stands Meyers was credited by DC as solely the artist of the book – but upon its release, Meyers and Benjamin Percy shared a “Story and Visuals.” credit. Meyers had previously stated that he redesigned all of the characters for the book, as well as Titans Tower.

Teen Titans #1 is scheduled to be released October 26.
