Top 5 Panels Of The Week – 09/26/18

Welcome Comic Frontline‘s Top 5 Panels! This is where the Frontline Six unite to pick their Top 5 comic panels from the week, and then you guys get to vote below which panel was your favorite. In next week’s post we will announce the winner from the poll.

Fan Panel Pick From Last Week – Batman: Damned #1 – NA NA NA NA BAT DICK!

KAT

5. Batgirl #27 – Men in Refrigerators

The series is taking a deep dive into Barbara’s women in refrigerators moment. So I thought it was a good twist to have a man in refrigerator reference in the book.

4. Action Comics #1003 – Batman Stole My Purse

I need more scenes like this from Bendis! Batman stealing this girl’s purse, I loved it!

3. Fence #10 – C’Mon Buddy

Their relationship is blossoming!

2. Spider-Geddon #0 – A Strength For Both

See Doctor Octopus gets it!

1. Batgirl #27 – My Legs Don’t Define Me

I’ve been really enjoying Mairghread Scott voice for this series, especially with how she deals with Barbara’s disability. This is a perfect snippet of that.

JAY

Honorable Mention – Marvel 2-In-One: The Thing And The Human Torch #10 – Brother From Another Mother!

Such a great moment that I had to give it honorable mention.

5. Fence #10 – Aiden’s Mom Has Got It Goin’ On….

Look at that, tell me you don’t hear that song in your head! This series does such a great job giving us these insights into the characters and now their families in small panels allowing us to know them all so well.

4. Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers #31 – IT’S MORPHIN’ TIME!

I LOVE this scene! We get to see all of the Rangers on this new team Morph and use their screen accurate Morphs! Great job!

3. Batgirl #27 – Men in Refrigerators!

This is such a deep meaning scene. Babs could have had her own “Woman In A Refrigerator” moment but that story wasn’t to further a male’s it furthered hers. Now the tables are turned and she see a literal Man In A Refrigerator moment where he is killed to further her story.

2. Heroes In Crisis #1 – Confirmed!

These two characters hold a special spot in a lot of old fans hearts and to see them like this is really powerful. Tom King has some big cajones on him for killing Wally West after he just returned. I think he might need a real bodyguard for NYCC because some fans are going nuts about this, but I love it!

1. Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #310 – Spider-Man Is….

So powerful, so deep, so emotional, I love it. I love the tribute to Spider-Man here, it shows that he is someone we all need to be more like. He didn’t stop at saving his life he helped make it better, but even with all of his powers he can not save everyone, but he still tries to.
