I love that KJ calls Mac her girlfriend. It’s interesting that she says it while she does her super jump over the fence. It’s a great visual call back to when KJ came out to herself. This scene shows how much KJ has grown as a character, and how much confidence she now has with her self-identity.
3. Paper Girls #27 – Hey Jude
I can never pass up a good Beatles reference, and this isn’t the first time Vaughan has shown his love for The Beatles. I mean Karolina Dean, one of his creations, is called in the Lucy in the Sky. Give me more Beatles’ references! I also like that KJ uses her future boats as a weapon in this panel.

Scenes like this are why I’m loving this book right now. Taking two panels to provide a beat so Gwen can casually pet the cat while waiting just makes the charm of this book.

5. Adventures Of The Super Sons #9 – You Live In Metropolis!
We all know that person who picks up accents. I love their friendship and how Damian and Jon just call each other out on things only real friends can do.
4. Oberon #3 – Lady Titania!
I have been waiting to see Lady Titania since the first issue and her entrance here was worth it. Is it weird though that I hear Kate Mulgrew who voiced her on Gargoyles when reading her?
3. Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History #2 – Canadian Spider-Man Eh!
I was literally laughing out loud at this scene, the whole Clone Saga jokes were the best., But now I kind of want to see a Canadian Spider-Man book Eh! Here is an idea to let my favorite Canadian creators do it too, David and Meredith Finch!
