Mia just showing off her skills in an arcade. I loved all the video game references and Mia’s frustrations with Dance Dance Revolution. 

3. Runaways #20 – I Really Really REALLY Like You

Goth Goddess, Nico Minoru, listening to Carly Rae is everything, and this song is definitely about Karolina haha. 

2. Jughead: The Hunger Vs. Vampironica #1 -Vampire Bite

Some good action and character work between Dilton and Veronica to reveal she’s still a vampire.

1. Runaways #20 – Death?

Is Victor attempting to commit suicide?

Honorable Mention: Marvel Rising #2 – Say Cheese!

Had to toss this in. Love that the heroes just paused crimefighting to take a group selfie with some fans!

5. Smooth Criminals #5 – Talky Bears



Funny scene. Man, those Talky Bears are state of the art! haha

4.  Detective Comics #1002 – YOUR City?

I love that Arkham Knight is pointing out Batman’s hubris here. Makes for a more compelling villain.

3. Dial H for Hero #2 – KLIK

Miguel hanging up on The Operator is hilarious, then asking for rope and being asked to leave… this book is just so much fun.

2. Marvel Rising #2 – Deadpool Trading Cards

Speaking of fun, how funny is it that Squirrel Girl keeps a deck of Deadpool Trading Cards handy to brush up on her villains?

1.   Runaways #20 – I Hunger

I’m obviously mostly enjoying the humor in this week’s books. This scene with Old Lace and Gib is priceless.

5. Marvel Comics Presents #4 – In A Galaxy Far Far Away…


After The Amazing Spider-Man #18.HU and the story of Gibbon, this was sort of a nice epilogue to it.

4. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #38 – It’s Morphin Time!


I love this panel so much! Seeing the Solar Rangers there just makes me want something more with them. And of course, I want Lightning Collection figures of them all now!

3. Detective Comics #1002 – YOUR City?

This arc just started and it is already a favorite of mine! I love the Arkham Knight and need to know who he is! But to see him here throw those words back at Batman is just indicative of how awesome he is.

2. Heroes In Crisis #8 – Confessional…


This is a dividing issue, but I don’t care where you stand, love it or hate it, this panel hits you HARD! This is the moment where the $#!! gets real.

1. The Lollipop Kids #5 – Ex-Freaking-Calibur!!!!


Dude, you do not know how much the 10-year-old in me squealed when I saw this. This was like a dream of mine at that age, to hold Excalibur, this is just what I would have said and done then.
