Fan Panel Pick From Last Week – DCeased #3 – No, Not Pa/He Was Too Late…
KAT
Honorable Mention – Event Leviathan #2 – Number 1 Suspect
The League of Detectives all out to get Jason. What does he know about Leviathan? And damn it was priceless to see the look on Jason’s face when he found out Damian was part of this secret team.
5. Invisible Woman #1 – Sue Storm Richards/I’m Every (Invisible) Woman…
The many dimensions of Sue!
4. Second Coming #1 – Thirty-Three Years!
God was absolutely hysterical in this book!
3. War of the Realms Omega #1 – The Ordinary
The ordinary is what makes Jane an incredibly relatable hero.
2. The Amazing Spider-Man #25 – I Hated Being Famous
1. War of the Realms Omega #1 – I Name You Valkyrie
I’m so ready for Valkyrie #1!!
BRANT
5. Invisible Woman #1 – Invisible Wrench
Nice moment here between Sue and Nick that points to their mutual respect. Beautiful art.
4. Young Justice #7 – FIFTY-TWO!
Ha! Of course Bendis had to play the 52 card, but given the setting I thought this was pretty funny.
3. Event Leviathan #2 – Suspect
I still think this is a Red Herring, but I like how this scene came together. You could tell it was leading to that, but this panel just before the reveal, you could feel the tension building.
2. The Amazing Spider-Man #25 – I DO Love it
MJ coming full circle falling back in love with acting was a nice moment for her, and this monologue was indeed great!
1. Young Justice #7 – Eat Em Up!
This was a funny issue, but this scene and the preceding panel (and the stuff with Captain Carrot) takes the cake. Love Bart here.
JAY
5. Young Justice #7 – I’ll Never Forgive Any Of You!
I love the Kid Flash more mature Bart, but seeing this scene reminds me of how much I loved the goofy Bart in the ’90s.
4. Invisible Woman #1 – I’m Every (Invisible) Woman…/Sue Storm Richards
This scene was great it shows who Sue is as an all-round great character but also shows how dynamic a woman is.
3. Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #21 – Fine, Not Fine…
Parrott and Grace do a great job showing how the team is dealing with Tommy being gone. This scene is great because you see Kim almost in denial while Jason being the leader and good friend is trying to help her see the truth.
2. Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #21 – Plan Omega…
1. Young Justice #7 – Be Your Best Selves…
MIKE SPIDER-SLAYER
5. Symbiote Spider-Man #5 – Symbiote Mysterio
Not going to lie Mysterio as a symbiote is awesome!! Could this have effects in Absolute Carnage? We shall see.
4. Invisible Woman #1 – Knocked Out By Invisible Wrench
You have to love the cover-up story that Sue and Nick Fury come up with so she can go on her secret mission.
3. Champions #7 – Who’s Deadpool?
What how can the Cosmic assassin Kaldera not know who Earth’s well know assassin Deadpool? Maybe they should fight one day.
2. Venom #16 – This Soup Sucks
Eddie went through a lot in this issue just to get some money so he can buy some soup for his sick son, Dylan. However, the soup sucked!! Great father son moment. Next Absolute Carnage!
1. The Amazing Spider-Man #25 – Fantastic
Great issue overall, however, this scene stood out as this bitch actress was putting down Mary Jane. Mary Jane in this issue really tries to be nice, however the facial expression on MJ is priceless as the actress comes out dressed like Sue Storm.
