Cody is on a tear lately, and this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite on TNT, he made his father, The American Dream Dusty Rhodes, proud as he looks down on his son. Taking after his father, one of the best talkers in the game, Cody delivered a speech that had the crowd and the internet abuzz, floored by the passion and the conviction of Cody. His declaration that he would never challenge for the AEW World Title again if he can’t beat Chris Jericho tonight at AEW Full Gear on Pay-Per-View sent reverberations throughout the AEW and wrestling fandom. Top this off with an insane brawl to close out the show and this made for an intense episode of AEW Dynamite!
