Welcome to Comic Frontline’s Top 5 Panels! Each week, the cast of Comic Frontline unite to pick our Top 5 comic book panels from the week, and then you all get to vote below on which panel was your favorite! In next week’s post, we will announce the winner from the poll.
Last Week’s Winning Panel YOU Voted for – Five Years #6 – Hello!

Now, onto this week’s picks…
Honorable Mention – Marauders #4 – Not Again!/Right On the Button
Kitty just can’t catch a break.
5. Runaways #28 – Old Chase
Man, this was a sad moment for Gert, but it was interesting to see how close of a bond Chase and Old Lace have created over the years.
4. Runaways #28 – Not A Leader

3. Teen Titans #37 – Then Go Fix It

2. Future Foundation #5 – You’re The Best Superhero I Know

1. Future Foundation #5 – A Kiss
Honorable Mention – Doomsday Clock #12: Implications
This is one of a few panels that hints at things to come and sets the course of DC history right, at least in Geoff Johns’ view. Hopefully we see some follow-through from these because a lot of cool things happened in this issue!
5. Ghost Spider #5 – Not Your Damsel!
I love how this panel turned the damsel in distress moment on its head and showed how cool MJ is in any universe!
4. Teen Titans #37 – Redemption?
Love Roundhouse’s line here, and I hope it’s a walk back to the light side for him and for his friendship with Kid Flash (who is making some other friends in this issue as well…).
3. Marauders #4 – Right On the Button/Not Again!

Poor Kitty’s nose! Haha But I love how organic this was to keep the aesthetic that they set for the book. Whether I like her busted nose or not, it’s a neat way to keep it in play.
2. Doomsday Clock #12 – Inspired
There were SO many panels to choose from in this issue, but this one in particular struck me. Throughout all of Watchmen history, Dr. Manhattan has been largely pessimistic with a guise of apathy. One speech from Superman later, and the other Big Blue is inspired! That’s pretty cool.
1. Guardians of the Galaxy #12 – More Important Things

Such a touching scene as the Guardians surround Rocket in a hospital bed here. “The galaxy can wait” is a great line that speaks to the love and connection this makeshift family has formed, and is perfect for this time of year as well.
