I really enjoyed this whole monologue. It shows that the old Professor is still in there, and how his old values line up with his new ones.

Kitty is already living that what if scenario.

 

 

Honorable Mention – X-Men #4: Me

 

 

Apocalypse throwing his weight around and oddly I love it!

 

5. Dial H for Hero #10 – Old School

 

 

I just love the fold directions to reveal the hidden message. Reminds me of a lot of comics and books I read as a kid.

 

4. Star Wars #1 – I Am Your Father

 

 

 

This was a great montage of Luke’s battle with Vader showing the process Luke’s mind is going through with this new information.

3. X-Men #4 – Last Time

 

 

I just love how Prof. X sat back and let Magneto and Apocalypse do most of the talking, then comes in and says I still love you, but it took you one month to try to kill me, and this is the last time you treat us like this or it’s ON!

 

2. Thor #1 – Leave it to Tony Stark to take a Sharpie to Mjolnir!

 

 

 

This was referenced a couple of times later in the issue too. Love it.

 

1. Marauders #5 – Besides…

 

 

This panel right here just pretty much defines Emma’s and Kitty’s relationship currently and says a lot about their past too. Brilliant conversation.

 

 

5. Hawkeye Freefall #1 – Do You Even Avenge?

 

 

 

Clint still gets no respect as an Avenger.

 

4. Marauders #5 – Which Nose Would I Return With?

 

 

Just like Emma thinking of superficial things.

 

3. Star Wars #1 – You Are Dismissed 

 

 

Charles Soule really knows how to write a perfect Darth Vader the scene is brilliant something you would see from a movie.

 

2. Thor #1 – Enjoy Your Retirement

 

 

This was a funny moment in this first issue Thor’s Hammer makes its way to Earth iron man gets a sharpie and writes this saying on the hammer.

Is the Weight of the Kingdom too much for Thor? Will he continue to be worthy? Looking forward to this Journey.
