Honorable Mention: Black Cat #3 – Foreshadowing

 

 

It was cool finding out about the upcoming story this summer AFTER reading this issue, knowing that some dreams do come true… maybe it even planted the seed!

 

5. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Faith #1 – The Best of ‘Em All

 

 

I like the play on the title of the movie as the vamps are closing in, and beautiful art!

 

4. The Magnificent Ms. Marvel #18 – Deal

 

 

It was nice to see Kamala and Zoe patch things up to close things out for now. No more super cops!

 

3. Crossover #4 – Never Underestimate a Yo-Yo

 

 

This was just a cool visual seeing Madman go to town with the toy.

 

2. King in Black: Return of the Valkyries #3 – The Other Kind

 

 

Touching scene as we basically learn this is a suicide mission for her, and she goes all in as we knew she would.

 

1. Black Cat #3 – I Like You Too

 

 

 

This was just too cute, and Doctor Strange’s tongue-in-cheek comment, but REAL fears were the icing on the cake.

I love this series. This is a true Crossover story! I love how Cates continues to add things to give the story a Crossover feel. Seeing the Sword Valofax from God Country was really cool.
