(P)Rebirth: What To Expect When Expecting Part 3

At the ComicsPro Annual Membership Meeting Thursday DC Comics announced the titles that will hit shelves on June after their 80-Page DC Universe Rebirth Special on May 25th. Black Magick #2 Review: More Procedural than Magickal

By: Nicole D’Andria After the fiery finale at the end of the first issue, I expected a lot from the next issue of Black Magick. Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of magickal moments this time around. Instead, there are a lot of quiet moments and a poor “twist” at the end, among a few positives that don’t keep this issue from being a bit boring. On every level this issue hits its mark and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it on some of the best lists inevitably made at the end of this year. Rowan Black is both a police officer and a witch. She’s called away from a gathering to confront a hostage taker who is specifically asking for her. What does he want and will people have to die in order…
